The Story:
It was spring 2004 and our CEO sought to diversify the current business of building wood or coal boilers and forced air systems that is a cyclicle business into a year round business. With the help of his team, they divised a plan to develop a grill that would be competitive in the market. It was a total failure. Moving forward to January 2009, Matt and his wife find out that they are expecting their first child. Matt brought home two beautiful filet mignon wrapped in bacon and started grilling them on a gas grill. Matt's wife came home to Matt cutting up potatoes not knowing that the grill had flames shooting out of the cover. The filets were given to the family dog, who wouldn't even eat them. Matt went back to the drawing board, bringing in his staff and explained the situation to everyone. We took the design of our coal stoker and minimized it to the size of a grill. It was a hit. Now we have a wonderful line of product to choose from.
